Explore the coast

A car opens up more than the coast road — here's where it's worth the drive.

Ronda

A clifftop town split by a 120-metre gorge, crossed by the 18th-century Puente Nuevo. About 1h from Marbella.

Puerto Banús

Puerto Banús

Marbella's marina, lined with yachts and designer storefronts. A short drive west along the coast road.

Mijas

Mijas Pueblo

A whitewashed hill village above Fuengirola, reachable only by road — no coastal train stops here.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to rent a car?

Most suppliers require one for the security deposit. Some accept debit cards — filter for "no credit card" offers where available, and check the exact terms before booking.

What documents do I need at pick-up?

Your driving licence (held for the minimum period the supplier requires), a passport or ID, and the payment card used for the deposit, all in the main driver's name.

What does the deposit actually cover?

It's a temporary hold on your card, released after the car is returned undamaged and with the agreed fuel level — not a charge, unless something is actually wrong with the car at return.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

That depends on the specific supplier and rate you choose — cancellation terms are shown on each offer before you confirm.
